At Gala Academy, we consider progression to be very important part of the learning. It is the same as progression in education...GCSE, A's, MSc, PhD etc. Our teaching techniques are different, where we explain the theory, then put it into practice and then show what good looks like in badminton.
Progression in badminton is when a student is driven forward with teaching, positive peer influence and outcome learning. What does this mean?
Teaching = explain the theory; put it into practice; show what good looks like
Positive Peer influence = freedom of comparison of skill and aptitude between students
Outcomes = is the student able to play competitively, socially, leagues, county, national
progression (noun) the process of developing or moving gradually towards a more advanced state.
